SkyWheel

Take a seat in one of the Ferris wheel’s 42 climate-controlled gondolas – a welcome relief from the summer heat, then prepare for as close to a bird’s eye view of the area as possible. The wheel is open 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily.
Springmaid Pier
The pier is located within the Doubletree Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, but the public is welcome. It is as the longest pier in Myrtle Beach, at 1,060 feet. Anglers will want to see what’s biting, after making a supply stop for all they need at the pier store, Fishtails.
Get a bite yourself at the restaurant, the Southern Tides Bar & Grill. Walking passes are $3/person and children under 5 are free. A single-day fishing pass is $12/person plus tax, and a three-day pass is $400 plus tax. Rod rentals are $15 per use, and you will have to return them in each time you leave the pier. The pier is wheelchair accessible, and free public parking is available in a lot across the street as well as on the street.
